16-Day Morocco Adventure – From Marrakech

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Arrival at Marrakech airport. Transfer to your hotel and free evening in Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 2: Marrakech → Casablanca → Rabat

Drive to Casablanca to visit the Hassan II Mosque. Continue to Rabat to see Hassan Tower, Oudaya Kasbah, and Mohammed V Mausoleum. Overnight in Rabat.

Day 3: Rabat → Chefchaouen

Travel north through the Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, the enchanting Blue City. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 4: Chefchaouen

Leisure day to explore the medina or hike to the Spanish Mosque / Akchour waterfalls. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 5: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes

Visit Volubilis Roman ruins, then stop in Meknes (Bab Mansour, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum). Continue to Fes. Overnight in Fes.

Day 6: Fes

Guided exploration of Fes medina: tanneries, Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine Museum, and artisan workshops. Overnight in Fes.

Day 7: Fes → Ifrane → Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga

Cross the Middle Atlas via Ifrane and cedar forests. Continue through the Ziz Valley palm groves. Arrive in Merzouga for a camel trek at sunset into the dunes. Overnight in desert camp.

Day 8: Merzouga → Zagora (Draa Valley)

Wake for sunrise in the Sahara, then journey through Erfoud and Rissani toward Zagora via the scenic Draa Valley, lined with palm oases and kasbahs. Overnight in Zagora.

Day 9: Zagora → Tafraout (Anti-Atlas)

Drive through the Anti-Atlas Mountains, discovering remote Berber villages, painted rocks, and almond groves. Overnight in Tafraout.

Day 10: Tafraout → Agadir

Travel via Tiznit to reach the Atlantic coast and the resort city of Agadir. Relax on the beach. Overnight in Agadir.

Day 11: Agadir

Free day at leisure: beach relaxation or optional trip to Paradise Valley. Overnight in Agadir.

Day 12: Agadir → Essaouira

Scenic drive along the Atlantic coast with stops at surf towns and argan oil cooperatives. Arrive in Essaouira. Overnight in Essaouira.

Day 13: Essaouira

Full day to explore Essaouira’s medina, fishing port, ramparts, and sandy beaches. Overnight in Essaouira.

Day 14: Essaouira → Marrakech

Return inland to Marrakech (~3 hrs). Free evening to enjoy the lively square and souks. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 15: Marrakech

Guided city tour: Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, souks, and Majorelle Garden. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 16: Marrakech (Departure)

Free time before your airport transfer.
